High School Sports Physicals
The ACMS Foundation works together with local area high school athletic directors and trainers to host the Annual High School Sports Physicals program.
This program provides preparticpation sports exams for area athletes in their freshman and junior years. More than 100 member physicians, PAs, and NPs and other volunteers provide this service, which is held held in various schools around the county.
In 2017, over 1000 exams were performed and raised $20,000 for the high schools athletic training programs.
Each year, the Foundation has hosted a cheese and wine tasting event in order to provide grants to local health organizations. The following programs have been assisted through the Foundation.
Top Shelf Burger Competition
In 2015, ACMS Foundation hosted its first annual amateur gourmet burger cooking contest and raised $1500 for the High School Physicals Program.
