CDH PPE Ordering Guidance

With the transition from the Strategic National Stockpile to FEMA (under the Federal major disaster declaration), the Idaho Emergency Operations Center (IDEOC) has issued new guidelines for PPE reporting and ordering criteria.

  • Any independent physician practice utilizing PPE for COVID-19 response should fill out the survey and check the "For Profit" box.
  • If you work for a large employer you should first ask your infection control or supply team or other supervisor before reporting on your own, so as not to duplicate numbers.

Note: filling out the survey and requesting PPE is nota guarantee the orders will be filled since all requests are prioritized, distributed (when on-hand), and ordered from FEMA based on several factors. However, filling out the form daily allows the Idaho Emergency Operations Center to understand utilization rates.
