The Boise VA Medical Center was informed late last week that the VA has decided to move the go-live date for implementing Cerner at the Boise VA from June 25, 2022 to July 23, 2022. This was done to give Cerner and the VA more time to provision providers, build clinic scheduling grids and make other changes necessary for a successful transition to Cerner.

Communication to veterans who use the Boise VA Medical Center and CBOC’s will be forthcoming. It is assumed, not confirmed yet that veterans will be able to transition web portal accounts from MyHealtheVet to My VA Health after go-live on July 23, 2022. Once we have confirmed that veterans can make the transition to their web portal account we will communicate those changes to veterans immediately thereafter.

"We apologize for any inconveniences this new go-live date will create for you and your veterans. The VA will also be delaying the rollout of Cerner at the VA Medical Centers that were scheduled to go live after the Boise VA," said Josh Callihan, Public Affairs Officer for the Boise VA.
