Join ACMSAda County Medical Society was founded in 1960 and since then, our membership has grown to over 2700 physicians, PAs, NPs, residents and medical students representing 60% of the Idaho Medical Association’s membership. ACMS is a strong collaborator, organizer, and voice for physicians in Idaho's capital city. We have a robust offering of programs and events during the year to continue learning throughout your career, connect with colleagues, and develop leadership skills. Many of these are intentionally family-friendly to promote a healthy work-life balance. Membership also provides you with a free listing in and a copy of our ever-popular photo directory and medical community resource guide. Conjoined with your Idaho Medical Association membership, being a part of ACMS provides you with a local place to get involved in the House of Medicine. JOIN NOW
Overview of ACMS Benefits
*Conjoined membership is required in Idaho - you cannot join ACMS separately from joining IMA. For purposes of qualification, you must be practicing medicine at least 50% of the time in Ada or Elmore County in order to become an ACMS member. Retired physicians historically associated with ACMS but living in another county may request a free secondary society membership. Retirees who have historically practiced in another state may apply to be a retired ACMS member by proving at least 15 years of state or county medical society membership elsewhere.
